Ok, I have a confession to make... I'm 30 years old and I love the WB. I know, I know, its the WB, but I just can't help myself. I try to look at it as helping me keep in touch with my inner teenage girl. You just can't but notice the sheer number of hot men on that channel -- Nick Lachey, Tom Welling, Johann Urb, Scott Wolf, George Stultz... And I can't but help LOVE Gilmore Girls, either. God, it makes me want to run out and pick up a copy of Tiger Beat... Of course, I'll probably end up watching porn instead...

I guess you're wondering my deal w/ Miranda's gnarly squirrel teeth. Well, I had a couple of extremely traumatic squirrel run-ins in college...
At Notre Dame, we have these large, ultra-aggressive, alpha male type mutant squirrels on campus. I think it may have something to do with the Radiation Lab on campus. In any event, one time, I had gone to the Student Center and bought a can of honey roasted peanuts. I made the mistake of opening it when I got outside. In the blink of an eye, I was surrounded by a pack of mutant squirrels that were out for blood. I would try to walk away, but they kept me surrounded. Finally, I took a handful of peanuts, threw them in one direction and ran the other direction. Fortunately, the squirrels took the bait and I escaped with my life.
The other time, I had bought a bag of peanut M&M's and was walking outside when I mutant squirrel ambled up to me. I had tossed him one, but that was not nearly enough to satisfy his gnawing hunger. I had taken another out and had it in my hand when the mutant squirrel climbed up my leg, grabbed the M&M out of my hand. It looked at me with these glowing red eyes, snarled with these razor sharp, gnarled, yellow teeth, then shook its little fist at me before it scampered down my leg. I was startled, surprised that it didn't end up taking the whole bag, and thankful that it had spared my life.
As you can see, the sight of Miranda's amazingly squirrel-like teeth never failed to bring back these traumatic memories...

An amusing take on the current political climate... Still, I don't imagine it's too far from the truth. This just reminds me of how extreme and out of whack the political debate has gotten.
On a lighter note, I just read that the actress that plays Miranda on Sex in the City was just outed. Now, I'm happy to have her in the family... that being said, am I the only person who is scared to death of her vicious, yellow, razor-sharp squirrel teeth? YIKES!

create your own personalized map of the USA
or write about it on the open travel guide
I've never considered myself someone who's traveled a lot, but now that I've plotted it all out, I figure that 17 states is not too bad...

Separated at Birth?

The Gap has their new commercial out with Sarah Jessica Parker and Lenny Kravitz. Now, I enjoy Sex in the City as much as the next gay man and I know that this may be considered by heresy, but I've always felt that Sarah Jessica looks EXACTLY like the Wicked Witch of the West. You decide.

I just received the latest issue of Instinct Magazine today. They had Reichen from last year's The Amazing Race on the cover. I ended up meeting him at a 4th of July party in Paradise Valley. I have to say that in addition to being HOT HOT HOT, he turned out to be a very nice, down to earth, intelligent guy. What's more, after 3 hours and several cocktails, he even remembered my name, even at a party with 150 people there. Now, that gets mega-bonus points in my book, since I seem to forget someone's name by the time they finish saying it. (Maybe that's why I just stopped asking for names with some of the tricks I've had...) In any event, its hard to predict how fame will affect someone, but my impression is that he's handled it pretty well. I was a little disappointed to read in the Instinct interview that he's dating someone now, but hey, by the time I finally move out to LA, who knows what will have happened, eh? In any event, he's someone I wish all the success in the world.

I went to see Cellular tonight. Stars Kim Basinger and Chris Evans. I was a little worried that it was going to be another Phonebooth, which I thought was painfully bad -- so bad that watching Colin Farell the entire movie still couldn't save it. Surprisingly, it was watchable. Pretty far fetched, but it was a decent Hollywood-style meaningless movie. The downside was that Kim Basinger had to play this weak, sniveling character (basically Jodie Foster's character in Panic Room), which annoyed the hell out of me. I guess I really dislike watching those traditional helpless women roles, especially when they're being played by actresses that have the capability of kicking ass...
On the plus side, Chris Evans started the first five minutes of the movie shirtless and he looked WAY fuckable. I think the movie would have been much better if he had done the whole thing shirtless and the call he got on the cell phone would have been some hot guys who wanted him to come over to a gang bang. Yeah, THAT would have been a MUCH better movie...

On the flip side, a DJ I know from LA was scheduled to play at this big party in Prague on Thursday. I looked online at one of the gay news sites and I read that the party had been cancelled at the last minute as the promoter basically took the money and ran... YIKES. I can just envision myself flying all the way to the gig and coming to the place, having it locked with a bunch of angry queens screaming for blood. Now THAT has to suck...

"LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- Flamboyant funk musician Rick James had nine drugs in his system when he died suddenly in August, including cocaine, methamphetamine, valium and vicodin, according to a coroner's report Thursday."
Damn, 9 different drugs in your system at the same time... THAT takes some talent. No, that takes a WHOLE lot of talent. What can I say -- Rick, you really WERE Superfreaky!

That being said, I really dig hanging out with Adam -- though I noticed that I talked a WHOLE lot through the evening. I thought about it, though, and came to the conclusion that while I know a decent bit about Adam's life through his blog, he knew considerably less about my life. In that light, I think it was ok to let him catch up.
Anyway, I know things are pretty sparse both design and content-wise, but bear with me until I get to flesh things out more.
God, I hate being hung over...
